Today, KH released his highly anticipated mixtape, ‘Viva.’ Featured on the new tape were 12 new tracks including the standout track “Back Around” to close out the tape. That song features Taylor Ganger’s in Wiz Khalifa & Courtney Noelle on a Sledgren beat.
Just last week we got Wiz Khalifa’s single, “We Dem Boyz” from his upcoming album, ‘Blacc Hollywood.’ Today we get the first remix of the track from Tyga. I have a feeling that this won’t be the last time an artist remixes this track.
HotNewHipHop is proud to present you with the official music video for “Miley”. Atlanta’s very own DJ Holiday teamed up with rappers Waka Flocka & Wiz Khalifa to give you a stunning visual.
The title bears an obvious hat tip to Miley Cyrus for her 2013 resurgence of the twerk phenomenon. Probably lesser known to the viewing audience (especially younger viewers) is how the video’s theme is based on the 1985 runaway teen flick “Weird Science”, where two awkward and unpopular teenagers create their ultimate dream woman with the help of technology.
In the same vein, watch our hip hop trio in “Miley” scheme some computer plans of voluptuous proportions, as they conjure up a room full of well-rounded honeys for their booting shaking contest.
Wiz Khalifa is a superstar in the rap game, now he is using his star power to put on for his Taylor Gang label. For the newest Taylor Gang release, we get a music video for Tuki Carter & Wiz Khalifa’s track, “She Said.”
Shorty after dropping his “We Dem Boyz” single, Wiz Khalifa called into J. Kruz at 97.9 The Beat in Dallas. During the interview Wiz and Kruz discussed the single and what fans can expect on his upcoming ‘Blacc Hollywood’ album. Wiz reveals that he hope to release the album before summer so that he can play the albums tracks on his summer tour.
Pittsburghers may remember J Kruz from his days at 105.9 WAMO. Seriously, who could forget the “holla back”?
“It’s ya man J Kruz on 106, think you got flow let me know who’s this?”
The duo congratulated one another on their continued success in a separate conversation. Always cool to see people with Pittsburgh roots doing big things!
Baby Sebastian Thomaz turns one year old this month on February 21st. HipHopDX was able to catch up with his father, Wiz Khalifa, to talk about how becoming a father has impacted him.
When it comes to fatherhood and music, those two are two totally different things. So, who I am professionally is totally different from who I am as a father and as a person.
I think it’s just a part of growing up. You know, everybody has that point where they grow up and you get more responsibilities and schedule your life and you do things a little bit differently than you did when you was younger and you’re not able to be as wild and as spontaneous. You know what I’m sayin’? Structure is always needed, so my kid coming into my life and helping me structure everything has helped me as a person and as a business person.
Wiz Khalifa credits his father for teaching him how to work for himself and educate himself while applying it to business.
I got it from my dad. He always expressed to me the importance of working for yourself and educating yourself and you know, just making the best out of any situation you’re put into. So, the fact that I make music, the fact that I dress the way that I do, the fact that I smoke weed, it could all be applied in a business sense.
Nick Cannon’s comedic hip hop show, ‘Wild ‘N Out‘ is set to return for a 6th season this summer. Today it was announced and several rap superstars will join in for the fun including Rick Ross, The ASAP Mob, Riff Raff, Nelly, and Wiz Khalifa amongst others.
The always hilarious show pits a rapper on a team against Nick Cannon’s team. Teams get points based on how they do in a series of rap freestyle games. The team who earns the most points at the end of the show is named the winner. To close out the show, the guest artist always performs one of their hit tracks. You can bet that Wiz will be doing a track of his from ‘Blacc Hollywood.’
Just moments ago, DJ Whoo Kid, DJ MLK & DJ Skee dropped their new mixtape, ‘SXEW Vol. 1‘. Appearing on that was this Taylor Gang record which rounds up Chevy Woods, Wiz Khalifa & Berner. “Dispensary” features all three artists killing their verses plus a killer hook that Wiz sings gracefully. This one is produced by The Elevaterz.
On Monday night, Wiz Khalifa appeared on WWE’s Monday Night RAW. On the show they played his new single and Wiz was a huge crowd favorite. Before leaving, Wiz took pics with many of the famous wrestlers, including Big Show, The Outlaws, Goldust & more.
