This past weekend, Wiz Khalifa ventured home to the city of Pittsburgh for three shows at Mr. Smalls. Thursday, Friday and Saturday night saw over 650 people sell out the small-sized venue each night.
On Friday night, myself and a few friends attended an unbelievable show. Over the past several years, Wiz has performed strictly at large venues, since this was in a small area, it was the perfect show for any music fan. While big venues are always fun, it is great to see the show up-close – where you can actually see the stage and feel the crowds energy throughout.

ILoveMakonnen is one of the brightest rising stars in music. Thanks to the release of his hit single, “Tuesday”, Makonnen continues to build hype. Today, he teams up with Wiz Khalifa for the official remix to his Sonny Digital produced track, “I Don’t Sell Molly No More.”
So I was on eBay during halftime of the Steelers game. Somehow I can across an interesting item – a notecard signed by Wiz Khalifa with a title that read “Wiz khalifa autograph read DESCRIPTION”. Being that it was $150 I clicked, because I wondered why this autograph was so great.
“this year wiz khalifa is worth 215million $” HAHAHAHA
I hope no one is stupid enough to buy this
Wiz Khalifa’s mug take the spot on the cover of The Source’s annual Power 30 issue. For the cover story, Wiz spoke on the balance between being a father and being a musician and who inspires him musically.
On balancing his career and being a father:
The hardest part is being away from my son at any point in time. I want to spend all day with him, all night, I want to wake up with him, feed him, teach him everything, it’s just not humanly possible.
On his musical inspirations:
I remember like Bob Marley, he listened to a lot of Prince, he really listened to everything my dad’s music was like a wide range, all the hits all the classics. He still puts me onto stuff, I mean when I was doing Kush & Orange Juice the reason I did David Ruffin for the cover was because of my dad. I mean I knew The Temptations, everyone knows The Temptations but my dad had really showed me David Ruffin’s solo career, and the stuff he was doing, we sat down and we listened to those records and it was just like a spiritual thing, and I was able to like put that on to the world as well.
The issue will hit stands soon!

It just dropped yesterday, but sales projections for Wiz Khalifa’s third studio album, ‘Blacc Hollywood’ are already out. According to HitsDailyDouble, Wiz will battle it out with ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy: Awesome Mix, Vol. 1′ for the top spot. As of right now, both are projected to sell in the 70-80k range.
This would be a bit of a fall off for Wiz as previously Wiz totaled 148,000 opening week sales with ‘O.N.I.F.C.’ and 197,000 sales of ‘Rolling Papers’.
There is however, a loop hole in all of this. With the purchase of a ‘Under The Influence Of Music’ tour ticket, all fans received a free digital download of the album. At this time, it is unknown if those sales will contribute to Wiz’s first week total, but there’s no reason they shouldn’t.
Help Wiz get his first #1 album and go purchase the album in stores everywhere now. Will Wiz take the top spot? Stay tuned!
